About Lily *On Trial in Her New Home*
*LILY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet loveable Lily! Her carer’s refer to her as their best foster yet, and if they didn’t already have 2 dogs of their own they’d adopt Lily themselves. This intelligent pup would love a home where she’d be walked daily and have the company of another dog if her owner worked full-time: will it be with you?
Recently surrendered to us Lily is the result of an accidental one night stand – her lovely natured mum is a purebred Border Collie (now desexed) while her father is unknown so we’ve played the old guessing game and based purely on Lily’s looks we wouldn’t be surprised at all if “dad” was a Bull Arab.
While in foster care she has been living with two older Cavoodles who, due to Lily’s gentle nature, took to her straight away. She likes to entertain herself with her toys or coax her humans into a game of fetch even bringing the ball back every time. Lily also enjoys a pat and a cuddle and isn’t at all licky or in your face.

When given the chance, Lily loves spending time indoors as she thrives on human company and quickly got the hang of using a doggie door, so we’d love to see this indoor / outdoor lifestyle continue in her forever home. She is toilet trained and sleeps inside and you don’t hear a peep out of her all night; in fact Lily rarely barks only doing so for a reason.
Lily is quite food orientated and had already learnt to “sit”, “drop” and “wait” before coming into care. She walks well on a lead using a harness and is also good while off-lead tending to stay close by, and if she does wander off Lily has terrific recall. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners – Lily loves a run at our local dog park where she displays submissive behaviour while interacting with the other dogs.
If you’ve got the time, patience and love to continue bringing up lovely Lily then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
