Oscar has been patiently waiting for his soulmate! So on his behalf we are here to find him one!
Please continue to read if you want endless hugs, long walks on the beach and soulful eyes to come home to after a hard days work. Oscar can provide all this and more. He just wants his person to love him just as much as he will!
This beautiful boy is trying to build his confidence while here at the shelter but we know he needs more. Oscar is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will take their time getting to know him. Oscar can be fearful of unfamiliar people and dogs. We don't blame him, instead he gets rewarded for being brave.
Once Oscar understands you that's when the play bows start and the toys come out! He is one big bouncy boy of fun! Did we mention he believes he's a lap dog regardless of his size? One of his many quirks.
As Oscar is providing all this and more, he humbly requests being inside with his family at night time, as well as access during the day. It makes him feel safe.
Oscar will also need to be the only dog in your life. In time, he may enjoy socialising with other canines using force free training methods. It will take time! Don't rush him, and reward his little steps.
Please come down to the adoption center to talk to us about Oscar! He radiates a love and vulnerability that you can't help but adore.
