About Pixie ❤️️
Introducing Pixie, our 6 year old Jack Russell x Mini Foxie.....Rescue isn't all about cute puppies and those who are easy to rehome. Rescue often involves rehabilitation, time & patience. Pixie arrived in care a very nervous and frightened little girl....but doesn't take her long to gain your trust, if you allow her to control the situation.
Pixie is currently in an only dog home, but does have access to the neighbours yard where she has 2 other dogs to play with. She's not dominant with other dogs, but also won't tolerate being pushed around by them either. Although she is playful with other dogs, we would prefer to see her re-homed in an only dog home, so that she gets all the attention she needs.
Pixie shows us just how important it is to gain ones trust....she will need an experienced dog owner who understands that Pixie will need space and time to settle into her new surroundings. She listens well to commands, walks well on lead, sits, will stop barking once told 'no', and has great recall.
Although Pixie enjoys having kids around, young children would not be suitable as she does not cope well with being grabbed or rough handled. She will need a quiet, calm home and ideally someone around to keep her company during the day. Once this girl gains your trust, she won't ever leave your side....
Pixie loves her walks, enjoys riding in the car, loves to snuggle in your lap and simply just being near you.
With all her vet work done and time spent in care, it's time to find this little cherub a place to call home. She is located at Narara, on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous girl. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
