Nessie

Mumma Nessie, a ragdoll x around 3yrs old, is another one of our kitties who had a rough life before coming into care where she has been showered with unconditional love. We responded to a local call out for help with a stray mum and her two week old kittens fending for themselves on the street and upon arrival mumma was not happy to see us. Running off scared without her kittens we set a trap and used the kittens as bait. A couple hours later Nessie came back for her babies, as we knew she would, and got trapped. Nessie was scared and confused and tried desperately to escape as she never met a friendly human on the street, luckily for her she was going home to a dedicated carer who knew she had love to give. It took less than 3 days for mumma Nessie to stop hissing and growling at her human and every time her they walked into the room she and her babies were staying in, she’d come running out craving those amazing chin and head scratches that always got “the spot”. Nessie is a little shy of new people but with the encouragement of food which she loves and those "to die for" chin and head scratches she will be loving them within a few hours. She spends her days lounging around waiting for her human to come home to shower her in endless smooches and cuddles and would make the perfect addition to any quiet and loving home.

She is in Rockhampton at the moment but can be transported down to Brisbane. She needs a quiet home

Adoptions must meet A mini Rescue criteria,

1 - Meet and greet,
2 - Adoption  forms completed and submitted
3 - Photo ID for records
4 - For Dogs, photos of perimeter fencing
5 - Subsequent home visit
6 - Payment
Please note: A pet is for life, this process takes a few days, please have patience.
A meet doesn’t necessarily result in adoption, please understand that we operate on a best fit rather than first in basis . Some applications will not be successful and our committee decisions are final.

Our animals are all vaccinated until time of adoption , microchipped and are desexed or will be desexed once they are old enough at our Rescue Vets.
