Besides just being downright handsome, Higgins is a seriously joyful, energetic and active boy who is in danger of tripping over his own tongue. It's usually hanging out because he's puffed from having such a good time. Higgins gets along well with most of the dogs he's met but can be over-the-top rough in play because he's still a silly and obnoxious adolescent, which could get him into big trouble with the wrong dog. He does usually listen well when another dog says "enough", but he is probably too much for an elderly or very small canine companion or very small children. He's easy to walk on leash, and is quick and willing to learn new things once he has a bond with you and he knows who to listen to. Taking his "terrible-teens" age into consideration, there will be things to work through, but generally Higgins is an easy-going all-rounder who is just sitting here waiting for you to fill him up with all the training and knowledge you need him to have to be the dog you want him to be. Take the chance! He's totally worth it.
