Powelly is a gorgeous one and a half year old boy who is looking for his forever home.
He is currently living with his two big foster brothers, with whom he loves and gets along with very well. He loves to swim, play fetch and walks well on a lead. He responds well when addressed and is able to do basic commands such as sit and drop. He is also currently learning how to shake (when ham is provided). He has responded very well to training and would benefit from continuing his training at dog school.

Powelly would suit a home with other big dogs that he can play with, or he would also make a great single dog companion. He is not suited to a home with small fluffy dogs or cats.

Powelly may look like a ridgeback, although he has the personality of a staffy. He’s affectionate, caring, loves kisses and cuddles. If you allow him to become a lap dog he will certainly take you up on the offer. During the night he will sleep on his bed when instructed and will not mess inside. He is house trained and hasn’t had ANY accidents inside. He isn’t scared of storms, fireworks or have any separation anxiety. He doesn’t bark along the fence line (even when other dogs do).
