Hello there, I'm Thomas. I'm sorry if you're having trouble hearing me, I can't talk so well at the moment as I've just had some major dental surgery and lost a number of my teeth. They don't make dentures for cats you know!

I'm just the sweetest old boy. My previous owners didn't look after me very well. When they moved house they were going to put me to sleep because they didn't want to take me and they thought I was too old to be rehomed.
I'm such a sweetheart and although I'm getting on in years, I've definitely got life in me yet! So I'm really happy that the people from SAFE saved my life.
My teeth were some of the worst the vet has ever seen - so badly decayed and rotten that I had a small cavity that stretched from inside my mouth and opened up on the side of my nose. It hurt a lot!
That's healed now, so I just need my gums to recover. Oh and I also had this surgery on my eye! My eye lid was rolling in and the hairs under my eye were rubbing on my cornea ALL.THE.TIME.
It hurt so much. The vet rolled the eyelid out and gently stitched it in place so hopefully it won't happen again.

Anyway enough of my health issues. I'm a great big ball of sooky love. Being an older lad, I just want somewhere comfy I can chill out. I'm good with other cats and will be fine with dogs and kids so long as they don't pester me too much. I need to be an indoor kitty because of my colouring. I'm part ragdoll and I definitely have a snuggly personality. I'll make a wonderful companion.

Because my dental surgery was so recent, I'm on some medication at the moment and I'll need extra TLC. I hope you can give it to me!

*Because of the infection in my mouth, I haven't been able to have a vaccination. SAFE can cover the cost of this in a few weeks if you can take me to a SAFE-affilaited vet, or you are welcome to take me to meet your own vet if you don't mind paying*
