About Alfie
!!!!!NO MORE APPLICATIONS AT THE MOMENT PLEASE. ALFIE HAS BEEN ONE VERY POPULAR BOY!!!!!!!
Hello there new family! Please read the entire profile and Adoption Procedures BEFORE sending your Enquiry for little Alfie. Due to a huge number of applicants and being 100% volunteer run organisation, we are only able to respond to successful applicants. Thank you so kindly for choosing Rescue! xo *
Alfie is an 12 week old puppy, who's small now, but will potentially be a quite big when grown up. His Mumma is a Bassett hound X and we suspect his Dadda to be a Bull Arab X. Alfie is a very happy boy who would love nothing more than a forever home where he can do lots of playing. He is quite energetic and would best suit an active household where he can join in on outings. He is very affectionate and loves a cuddle. He is extremely loving and always gives you a kiss to show you he loves you. He is responding well to the basic obedience training he has done with his foster mums, but as with all puppies would benefit from attending puppy school.
He is in foster care with his siblings, his Mumma Rose and his feline (cat) sister Jasmine.
Alfie would need to go to a forever home where there could be another doggy friend to play with, where he will be kept safe, indoors to sleep and when you are not at home. He’s looking for his forever family who will cherish and adore him, right through to the ripe old senior age. We believe dogs are a part of the family and should be included in everyday life and he just loves to be included.
Alfie is living with a very relaxed kitty, who is also a rescue. As puppy’s can get a bit boisterous we recommend slow and controlled introductions to your current resident kitties if you have them. This also applies to children as puppies this size can accidently knock toddlers over without understanding what has happened. No one wants puppy or human tears so if you have wee little ones please consider the safety of both before applying.
We're looking for dedicated, mature humans to welcome Alfie into their home & hearts, continue with Alfie’s puppy training & socialisation & also of course commit to his on-going adult training which is so important not only for his particular breed but for any doggy joining a new family.
Adoption applications with an existing family dog will take priority over others. Alfie’s ideal home is with another already existing dog to show her the ropes, etiquette, dog to dog interactions and mannerism.
Medical notes
Alfie is a happy and healthy puppy who will be fully vet worked before going to his forever home.
