On Hold
About Mouse and Baby Bear
WE HAVE A MEETING WITH A FAMILY THIS WEEKEND SO WE ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD
Hi our names are Mouse and Baby Bear, we have been very loved all our lives, we are a super sweet pair who just love to be loved. We are a bonded pair looking for a home together. We will not be adopted separately sorry.
Let me tell you a bit about us, I am Mouse I am a Chihuahua and I am 2 years old, who I have been told is very very sweet and I like to play with other little dogs. I am overweight at present, over 4kgs so they say! But the rescue ladies have put me on a diet and I am sure I will shed some weight soon so that has to continue in my new home, don’t worry I will come with instructions and a diet plan.
Now my friend Baby Bear she is a bit of what I call a Diva Princess, she is a Pomeranian x Chi , she is 4 and teeny, just over 2kgs and thinks she is the boss of me, she can be bossy towards me sometimes but then next minute she is cleaning my ears, so I really do love my little Diva friend, we sleep together and do lots together. We lived with a cat and I used to play with him all the time, so dog friendly cats are ok as long as they know we will take time to get to know them. We will bark at them though, so if that's ok it might work out. We would be best as the only dogs in our forever home, My Diva friend is bossy with other dogs and she is a typical Pom, she needs to voice her opinions, but give us lots to do and we will settle down. But if you are looking for quiet dogs don't pick us, Miss Diva is very Pom in nature and they like voicing opinions.
The sort of home we are looking for, we don’t want a home with young children, we really do not like them much, we were teased by some and we prefer a more chill atmosphere. So what we are looking for is maybe a retired couple or lady, or maybe someone who works from home who loves company. We love company and have spent all our lives having that, so really we would love the same please. We also LOVE the beach!! We need secure fencing as my friend especially is teeny! We are good girls in the house let us outside and we will do our business, but will also use wee mats.
Oh we are also healthy, we even behave at the vet's but we like to always go together, my Diva Baby Bear's only issue is she has what is called luxating patellas but they are low grade so not a concern, she could do with joint supplements. If you want to meet us go further down our profile and fill out an expression of interest. We are super sweet and smart dogs and we need a permanent very loving home together.
Chihuahua Rescue QLD would consider an interstate home for the pair if it is the perfect home for them.
Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Chermside, Jindalee, Browns Plains or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant X-rays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heartworm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Mouse is healthy and needs to continue her diet.
Baby Bear has low grade locating patellas and a joint supplement would be very beneficial.
