Benji came to us from Ravensthorpe pound and is now looking for a home to call his own.
Benji has settled well into foster care, he is very affectionate and seems to love everybody. He adores being around people, and is playful with all other dogs. He is untested with cats so would need very gentle introduction. His foster carer has children and he is a little hyper around them so we would recommend that he goes to a family with children over the age of 5.
He needs some training on walking on the lead and is not yet completely housetrained, but with gentle guidance and training he should have these mastered very soon. He will also chew things if bored, so will need company or appropriate toys to keep him occupied.
Benji knows all his commands and is very obedient. He also loves his walks, ball games and generally hanging out with other dogs and people. He knows how to shake hands and sleeps on his carers youngest child's bed at night.
His ideal home will be with an active family who will treat him as one of them, and he needs a couple of good walks each day to keep him happy and healthy. A family with children or another dog who love to play with him would be great. He will need secure fencing, and be allowed to sleep inside at night.
