About Striker
We like to say that Striker is an anomaly wrapped in an enigma as his personality is so complex.
This boy loves to be the man about town with walking and gets super excited to stroll the streets - and yet is such a quiet sook at home.
Striker is full of life and loves to see and sniff dogs of all kinds in the park - and yet can be petrified of a tiny puppy attempting to sniff him back.
He loves his food and treats - and yet can be quite fussy with his kibble.
But what we can tell you is that he loves his people 110% and wants to be with his family always. Although he can be left alone for short periods of time, he can’t tolerate being locked out of rooms when his family are near-by. This will mean that Striker’s new people will need to allow him to be part of family, including sharing the bedroom along with general family activities.
Striker is used to living in a home environment so is very well behaved inside and toilet trained.
Striker has been perfectly behaved with the cats in his foster family so may be cat tolerant depending of the confidence-level of the cat, experience of the owner and the home environment.
We are being very specific with this boy as he deserves the very best of homes and will go to nothing less than the best. In return he will shower you with a rich personality, loyalty, affection and companionship – as well as being a devilishly handsome big boy.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. If you are interested in Striker, please let us know:
• A bit about yourself, including your work patterns and the number of hours the dog will be left alone each day
• About the people and pets you share your life with.
• The type and size of your residence / yard (is it securely fenced?)
• Anything else you think will help us find the perfect dog for you
