About Rusty
Rusty is playful, fun, affectionate and extremely intelligent.
He is a young almost grown pup, He is learning fast being very keen to do the right thing. He plays well with other dogs understanding their boundaries and is also spending a lot of time with young children.
He has learned very quickly to walk on the lead and other commands. He is also toilet trained.
He is medium sized and may fill out but we and the vet do not think he will grow anymore.
He was surrendered in a very remote part of the NT to a rescuer where he has spent several months in foster care with dogs of all ages and sizes
With the right supervision, our pups have often gone to homes with children of all ages and even to homes with cats. We cannot advise how the dog would be with other animals e.g. chickens if not kept in an enclosure
Rusty flew from Alice Springs to Melbourne and is in foster care in Mirboo Nth, Gippsland.
He is desexed, C5 vaccinated and parasite treated.

Who makes up your family including ages of children?
If you do not own your home do you have written permission for a dog?
Have you had a dog before and when?
How long would the dog be alone for each day and during these times?
(Pups and young dogs have rarely been alone before and may develop separation anxiety leading to excessive barking and destructive behaviors)
Where will the dog sleep at night?
Please only inquire when you are ready to take a dog home at the time of the "meet and greet" e.g. have puppy proofed your home, purchased everything you need and all decision-makers are present
