About Holly
Introducing Holly, our absolutely stunning Great Dane x Staffy girl 💕
This absolute sweetheart has grown up around cats and other dogs and is currently in care with 2 large dogs as well as her foster family which includes older children. Whilst she loves to hang out and play with the bigger dogs in her foster home, her one true love is humans. Holly is currently living both inside and outside and her foster Mum is very impressed with her toilet training efforts.
Holly is currently sleeping inside at night and sleeps through the night with no issues. She's a playful, yet chilled out girl and will often laze around with the older dogs in her foster home....but the teething stage is fast approaching, so she will need plenty of chew toys, bones and kongs to keep her from chewing on everything in your home!
Due to Holly's size/breed, we will be allowing her to be re-homed under a desex agreement. This will mean that Holly must be returned to one of our approved vets on the Central Coast for desexing, no later than 29th March 2019 (6 months old). We have consulted a number of vets who have all confirmed this is an appropriate age for the breed/size. For this reason, there will be no interstate adoptions and we will be ideally looking for a home on the Central Coast.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Holly will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a large dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Holly would be best suited to a home where she had the company of her humans or another doggie companion. She will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing. Whilst she is currently in foster care with children, due to her size, we would recommend children over the age of 8 years.
Holly is located on the Central Coast and looking forward to meeting you!

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
