Danielle -Desexed and Vaccinated -On Hold

Danielle (on hold -awaiting desexing before going to her new home) was dumped on a street before a member of the public brought her to the pound. Danielle is a small girl that has been terribly neglected before being dumped. When we picked this girl up she was covered in mats right down to her skin, and had to be shaved. Her fur was also wet with urine. Once her fur came off we could see just how thin this poor girl is. If you are interested in adopting danielle, you must be prepared to take care of her fur. Whether you wish to keep it clipped, or regularly brush it is up to you, but it is cruel and neglectful to just allow it to grow and get matted to such an extent ever again. If you do not want to spend the time caring for her beautiful locks, get a short haired rabbit. As a result of her less than caring previous owner, danielle is now bald along her back and has red and raw skin patches from urine scald. We have photographed her carefully to avoid showing this, and have copied hair onto her sides in photoshop so you can see how beautiful she will be. Danielle has so much potential, and is only a very young bunny. She deserves someone who has the time to spend getting to know her, and will regularly handle her. She will hop over when she sees you coming and happily takes treats. She's come to like pats, but gets a bit scared if you try to grab her suddenly. Once on your lap she will sit there for a very long time, happily snuggling into you and loving the special attention. She has a craving for carrots, no matter what time of day it is. It is the best treat you can use with her, she will do anything for her carrot. Danielle is best suited to a household without very young children so she can continue to grow in confidence. She is currently housed with nikie and heather, the two bunnies she came in with. Danielle will not be available for adoption till the 4th of april, unless the adopter wishes to have her desexed at our special vet rate.
