Heather -Vaccinated -On Hold

Heather (on hold -awaiting desexing before going to her new home!) was dumped on a street before a member of the public brought her to the pound. Heather likes her food a lot, and will happily take it from your hand during feeding time. Food is her achilles heel, and we used this to our advantage when encouraging her to become confident enough to come over to us. She can still suddenly 'spook', at which times it is best to let her recover. Bunnies are prey animals, and as such she will need a little more time spent with her before she overcomes her instincts. Because of the release of the calici virus on the 1st of march, we'll be having to keep a close eye on heather to make sure she is ok incase she has been exposed to the virus.
