About Ivy
Beautiful Ivy and her equally beautiful puppy Violet came to us from the Pound after being surrendered by a young mother who was struggling to care for them.
Puppy Violet has been adopted and now Mum Ivy is on the lookout for a new family.
We’re not sure what breeds are in her makeup, possibly some Staffy, however she is fully grown and is medium sized. Ivy is an absolutely wonderful girl, she has been in foster care for a long time, so we know her very well. She is so sweet and kind.
Ivy is an adoring sort of girl, she loves you to pay her attention, pat her etc and in return she smooches on you and gazes into your eyes.
She is walking quite well on a leash, is a nice calm girl in the car and mixes beautifully with dogs and puppies of all sizes and ages. She is housetrained and has been sleeping in her carer’s bedroom.
Ivy isn’t a barker - in a kennel situation, many dogs are barkers, however Ivy is a quiet girl in the kennels and at my home. She isn’t an escape artist and stays in my yard even when I walk away and she could easily get out.
When first introduced to the cats, she sat and looked as if curious, but showed no sign of aggression. On second introductions and a warning signal from one cat, Ivy showed little interest at all.
In my opinion, with proper introductions and supervision, Ivy will be a cat friendly dog.
Oh and she loves to pose for the camera!
Ivy is in care at Moree, NSW.
We have daily flights to Sydney and further afield and dog road transport passes through on a fortnightly basis.
Medical notes
Microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
