Rocky

Well hey there! Pleased to meet you, the name's Rocky.
I'm a handsome and happy lad who kind of got caught up in the wrong crowd lately... by which I mean, my previous owner got on the wrong side of the law and was taken to prison but me and my little mate got left behind at the house. Oops!! We were there for a few days on our and things were looking pretty dicey but I tried to stay positive. Someone came to the rescue and to start with I was super happy... then it turned out they were the rangers! They were really nice to me but they had to put me in doggy prison aka the pound.
My mate I used to live with was a little chihuahua who found a new home super easily. But I just sat around in there, waiting and waiting. It seemed kinda unfair, cos it wasn't me who broke the law! So then things started looking dicey again, when I was hearing the word ""deadline""
My time in the pound was almost up and I was facing a death sentence!! But then I struck it lucky and some people from a rescue group swooped in and saved me. Yahoo!

So now I'm having a great time in foster care, but it's time for me to finally find a forever home where I can settle in and become part of the (law-abiding!) family.
I'm generally a really friendly and social boy. I'm house-trained and I'm learning how to walk nicely on a lead. As you can see, I love to play with toys! I am generally friendly with other dogs - as I mentioned, I used to live with a chihuahua and we were buds. So if you've already got a friendly pooch, we should have a meet and greet but hopefully we can be friends. I'm friendly with dogs at the park too, though sometimes I'm just a bit over the top, so you'll need to take things slow.
My foster mum works full time and I'm okay with that too, however I don't like to be left outside on my own for long periods of time (brings back bad memories)
Cats are REALLY SUPER INTERESTING but if you've got one you can't adopt me because they're just a bit TOO interesting and I would like to chase them and that wouldn't be a good idea. Chickens and other small animals might also be an issue if they free-roam (though if they're in a pen that would be okay).
I reckon I could live with kids though, but maybe kids who are a little bit older so I don't get too excited and accidentally knock them over!
I'm an interactive dog with lots of energy, but I also love to sleep on your bed.
I'm suited to a human who is happy to make their dog a BIG part of their life and won't mind if I want to snooze on the couch with you (dog hair is a new fashion accessory, don't you know?!)
As you can imagine, my previous owners weren't that big on formal training so I need to build some skills but I'm like a piece of clay just waiting to be moulded.
