Jasper

The newest addition to the Homes for Huskies crew is Jasper! We know Jasper’s current situation and human very well and wanted to share him with our fantastic community as we help find him the perfect furever home.

In the modelling world, height is an asset as leggy models strut down the catwalk. In the husky showing world, there’s an limit on legginess and height and Jasper, bred as a show dog, just got too tall to compete!

He’s in a loving and happy show home, but can’t participate himself due to his height, and he’s now feeling left out. His owner knows how sweet, friendly and loving he is, and he’s left twiddling his toes by myself whilst his family doggy housemates are out strutting their stuff in the showring.

She’d love to see Jasper in a loving home where he gets lots of love and attention and can shower his person with love back! He’s a lovely boy with no issues who will simply be happier among his people and pack more often, and she’ll be sad to see him go, but knows it’s for the best. He would suit a female companion.

Jasper is 12 months old, is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. His show name is Koolmove Dude with Attitude and his pedigree is A1. His mother is a multi Best In Show winner and an Australian Supreme Champion, and his sire is a Canadian import and also a Champion. Both parents are Hip and elbow x-rayed and scored and eyes tested every year.

Jasper will come with his own collar and lead and some dry food to get him started, as well as his pedigree papers.

The usual husky rules apply, with minimum 6ft dig-proof, secure fences, and no cats or pocket pets.
