About Bolt ~ Kelpie x Shepherd (on trial 15/12/18)
Hi! My names is Bolt and I am a 1 year old Kelpie x White Shepherd. I am looking for a very special home for this stunning boy. Preferable with active people who are used to the energetic nature of a Kelpie.
Not only am I stunning looking but I have the sweetest nature and I like to curl up on your lap and "nibble" you, yes I a am still mouthing and it can be painful so take that into consideration along with chewing and taking lots of items out into the garden. I am also a great surfer of benches and coffee tables
I cuddle up to the guinea pigs I live with but as a Kelpie I might chase a running cat but would certainly not hurt a dog friendly cat.
I still need training for manners in the home but I am quickly learning to come back when called, to ignore other dogs, to wait before going through a door, having my leash taken off and on, eating my food and not jump out of a car. If you are unable or unwilling to train a young dog please consider an older or less active breed.
I cannot be left for days alone as the working breeds can cause havoc in that situation by barking, digging and generally making life very difficult.
I am a beautiful boy who is great with other dogs and would love a playful companion, I love children and people in general so I can go anywhere with you and so I should.
For more information or to meet Bolt, please contact his foster carer Lorraine on lollyb81@gmail.com Bolt is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Bolt’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
