About Winnie
Ola, my name is Winnie and I about to start the search for my new forever home and I am so excited at what the future may bring! I have been in care for a few months and my main role was as a companion for my fellow foster brother, Daryl. Now it is time for us to both leave the nest and find out what the big wide world has to offer.
My perfect home would be with a furbrother, or I could cope as an only dog, but I have told the adoption team any homes with a male doggo friend should be prioritised. I am super friendly and love every dog I meet, I have even spent time with my foster carers parents small white fluffy dog, so a small breed could be an option. For anyone that follows the AdoptADane foster page, you would've seen I went on ann adventure with my foster brother the other week. So I do need secure 5 foot plus fencing, even though my brother led me astray, sometimes the temptation to go explore is very strong!
As for cats, I haven't lived with one, but if you were able to keep them separated and do gradual introductions then I could learn to coincide with one, even though they are debbie downers, they never want to play! I would love a home where we get to go out and about a bit, I do love my social life. My favourite past time includes playing fetch! Yes, you read right, I am a Dane that is ball obsessed and could play fetch for hours on end! I have met the odd little human and they seem ok, but being a large and sometimes uncoordinated breed, they would need to stay out of my way when playing ball and zoomie time!
So if I sound like the type of gal you would like to join the family, please fill out an online adoption application (link below). Please DO NOT send a Pet Rescue enquiry, they are not monitored and we have a strict adoption policy in place :)
