About Gidget ~ Border Collie x (on trial 7/12/18)
Gidget is a beautiful 9 week old Border Collie x Shih Tzu female puppy who loves to play with his toys and siblings and loves to cuddle with you while watching tv.
Gidget has been living with her sisters, brother and 4 other dogs so would love another friendly dog to play with. Gidget is a very healthy, happy puppy who needs a family who is home most of the time and is not available to families with children under 10 for her safety. You need good fencing with no gaps underneath and is not available to go to rural fencing (mesh or wire).
Like all puppies Gidget loves to chew including fingers and toes, she is learning house training and is doing really well but she is a baby and accidents will happen so her reward training will need to be continued in her new home.
Gidget is a house dog and needs to be a part of the family and I always recommend puppy school when fully vaccinated. All dogs and puppies need plenty of love, affection, exercise and training.
Gidget's sister Gypsy is also available for adoption.
As Gidget is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Gidget, please contact her foster carer Debbie on debbie_morphett@bigpond.com Gidget is in Beresfield, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle).
Gidget's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
