About Boomer
Hi, I'm Boomer!
I am a 4-year-old Staffie and am bursting with love!
My foster family thinks I am a very sweet and loving boy. I love people and dogs and want to make friends with everyone that I meet.
I am toilet trained, know how to sit, stay, lie down, take food gently and shake hands, but could do with some more training on the lead (I zig-zag a bit!) and need to learn not to jump on people (I get a little bit excited!).
Don't worry though; I'm a smart boy and will learn quickly if you have a bit of time to spend with me and help me learn.
I would love a home where I am truly part of the family, with someone around to keep me company more often than not, I don't like being left on my own for very long. I love a daily walk and it would be nice if I had a bit of room to run around in, but I don't need a massive backyard.
I don't want to share my home with cats, but I could live with another dog of a similar size and one that enjoys playing like I do. As I'm quite strong and still learning not to jump on people, I'd be best suited to a family without young children, as I'll almost certainly knock them over.
I promise to give you all my love and be your best friend for the rest of my life.
Are you my forever family?
I can't wait to meet you!
Love and licks,
Boomer (Boom Boom)
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
