About Shiane DL1233
Why give a dog such a 'human' name? Well, because Shiane is a real family member, of course! All she needs now is the perfect surname on the end... Could it be yours?
Shiane is a super affectionate dog who just adores people. She greets you with a very warm welcome of an excited wagging tail and giant smooches. However, she soon settles down, and loves to follow you around the house providing great company for those annoying tasks like doing the washing!
While Shiane is very loving, she isn't needy. She likes cuddling up to you and leaning her head on your lap, but is also happy to hang out on her bed nearby instead. As you can see in her photos, she won't say no to a little treat of peanut butter!
She is gentle and smart, too! She knows how to sit, stay, shake, and "on your bed". She is friendly with kids and would fit in well with most families, as long as she has her own space to go chill out when she's ready to rest.
Shiane is great on the lead and thoroughly enjoys going out for walks and having a good sniff around. Since she isn't keen on other dogs, she enjoys her walks at night when it's quieter. If she happens to come across another dog, she does pull strongly, but a change of direction is an easy distraction.
Shiane loves to snooze on the couch; her current carer has a doggy spy camera set up while they're at work, but it is very boring to watch, as Shiane rarely bothers to move from her comfy couch spot.
She's a great watch dog and super well behaved. Like most dogs, she doesn't love bath time, but even then, she has beautiful behaviour. She loves playing with you; her favourite toys are her rope and her tennis ball.
Everyone who meets Shiane is shocked that a dog with such wonderful manners hasn't been snapped up! If you'd like to meet our sweet girl, please email DFL today to apply.
