Shadow

I am quite a shy cat.I had a past situation which I did not like so I get scared very easily. It takes a while for me to come out of my shell. When I do I can be very affectionate. If you talk to me I will answer, and when you have earned my trust I will rub up against you with my most amazingly soft velvety coat and jump on your lap.
I need someone who will understand my needs and be patient with me. I can learn to get along with other cats ( I currently have a lovely cage mate), but I am also happy to be by myself.
I have been around children and I love sleeping on their beds, unless there is a beanbag nearby, then that is my fav.
