About Felon
Single dog home.
No cats.
Older children only.
Someone home a lot.
UPDATE - I've had my behaviour assessment. I'm extremely well trained and who ever adopts me will get a training session with Trish from Four Paws K9 Training & my current owner to show you how well he has trained me.
I am fine when I go to obedience school, my owner has trained me VERY well so I'm manageable around other dogs else I wouldn't be allowed to attend the classes, we've just got to train my new owners with the commands I've been taught.
Here are some important note's on my assessment.
Adoption Criteria
• Experienced dog owners only!
• New owners to undertake training session with a trainer to understand clicker training and continue with management strategies for Felon around other dogs.
• Nil off lead areas or areas where there are a number of other dogs.
Adoptability at present: High
Hi my name is Felon, I’m a lovely little boy who sadly needs a new home due to my owners circumstances changing which means I’m being left alone for a long time each day and I can’t cope with that because I get too lonely.
I have pedigree papers, I’m house trained, I’ve been to obedience school, I know how to sit, drop, roll over, shake hands, fetch the ball, I have recall with my owners but this something my new owners need to learn to do with me, I love to sit on the couch with my owners and watch TV.
I’ve never lived with children and I find young ones a bit too much but I like to play with older children as they will throw the ball for me.
I was attacked as a young dog by a big Ridgeback and now have fear based aggression, so off leash parks where dogs rush up in my face is a no go area for me.
It would be best if I was adopted by experienced Stafford owners because they understand how we can be when fearful of other dogs.
I’m scared of storms so I would need someone around with me when there is a storm coming as I tend to run away, I have a thunder jacket but still need to be with humans when the thunder & lightning strikes.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
