About Xavier
Xavier's new year's resolution is to find himself a fabulous new home! <3
With his strokeable smoky-grey coat and gentle gaze, this lovely young man is sure to capture your heart. Once relaxed and settled in his environment, Xavier is a very friendly lad whose favourite thing in the world is a long, smoochy session with his foster human and his brush! He will reward you with meows of delight and huge purrs when you arrive home at the end of the day.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would be in a female household, ideally - I'm definitely most comfortable around women, though I'm gradually coming around to my foster dad too! I do enjoy company, so if somebody was home most of the time, that would be the cherry on top.
Although I adore being brushed, Im not a fan of being picked up but love the feeling of being patted - sometimes I beg for love but then might run away! I'm very much my own person and like to set the agenda for play and interaction.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Having recently outgrown my kitten phase, I'm mostly quite relaxed and enjoy sitting in windows and watching birds, passing traffic and the neighbours' goings-on.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't like too many sudden noises or movements, so a family home probably won't be the best match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't met any other pets yet, but my foster dad reckons another cat might help me to settle in!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
