About Ruby
Our Ruby is a five year old desexed female stock coat German Shepherd whose former owner failed to collect her from a country pound in NSW.
Ruby came into care very confused as to how she could have been left at a shelter and not taken back to her family. We so often see our rescue dogs desperately searching for their owner and Ruby is one who will bond strongly with her humans.
Ruby is in good health is in our care at Cumberland Reach, nr Windsor. Voice responsive and so willing to please she will listen and respond. She is house trained and would prefer to be the only dog and no other pets in the home please.
We do want Ruby to find her forever home before the New Year, please.
For more information on Ruby please select the “Enquire for this Pet” orange button on your petrescue screen.
Medical notes
Ruby is desexed fully vaccinated. She has been heart worm tested negative and is in on flea and tick prevention. She has been professionally hydro bathed and groomed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
