About Roxy ~ BC x Koolie x Great Dane (on trial 12/12/1)
Meet Foxy ROXY! I’m a 3 year old Border Collie x Koolie x Great Dane but I haven’t let the Great Dane side of me take over as I’m not a huge girl. I’m desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and toilet trained, making me ready to be the newest addition to any family who will give me lots of pats and attention! My previous owner had their living arrangements change and I had lived with her and my two dog parents for my entire life, so she was very sad to see me go. I have quickly settled in to my new foster home however I was fairly shy and nervous at first but now I love playing with my foster brother.
My foster parents recently showed me a toy which made a very exciting squeak noise and I don’t think I have ever heard anything more exhilarating in my life, I played with it until I was very worn out.
I previously slept outside undercover but now at my foster house I have been using the dog door to sleep in the laundry with my foster brother. I’m not a jumper, and I haven’t attempted to escape from my foster home even though it is a long way from my previous home. My foster mum says I have very good manners as I know not to dig, or chew and I don’t jump on people.
I know basic commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and my foster mum says I could easily learn more if bribed with food! I like to go for walks and love to play, however I am also very placid and am happy to just chill out next to you however I might give you the occasional nudge to remind you to keep patting me.
As I haven’t been on my own for much of my life, I think I would prefer to live with someone who could either take me to work with them or was home a fair bit. As I am pretty chill I would probably be ok to be left on my own but I would really like another furry brother or sister to hang out with. I used to live with a cat, chickens and ducks and I am good with small children.
