About Oscar
Say hello to Oscar.
Oscar is a happy boy. He has a very adoring personality and is loads of fun and entertainment. He does also have a shy side until he feels comfortable and then you will have an adorable little friend who will crave your affection.
We have not had Oscar and his siblings in our care for very long but while they have been with us, Oscar has shown to be the most confident and is definitely braver when he has his siblings by his side. He will take on most challenges while he has a canine buddy by his side.
This adorable litter came to us from a home where they were living with many other dogs and are used to endless amounts of canine security and company. For this reason, Oscar and his siblings will only be suited to homes where they will have a confident, desexed dog of similar size and breed to share their days with.
Oscar is very small (just under 4kgs) and is intimidated by larger sized dogs.
He and his siblings will be looking for separate homes and homes where they will be an only dog will NOT be considered.
While he has been in our care, Oscar has been living as a mainly indoor dog. He will go outside if he has access but may need the occasional reminder until he has settled in. Although he has quite nice manners, Oscar does not know any commands. Learning some basic instructions will help him understand boundaries and to learn what his people are asking of him.
Oscar is currently living with children 10+ and is happy in their company. Younger children make him a little nervous as he enjoys his personal space and being given the time he needs to feel safe before approaching people. For this reason a home with young children/grandchildren wil nt be suitable.
Please contact us if you believe you have the type of home we are seeking for Oscar.
We are expecting to receive a large number of enquiries for Oscar and his siblings so your patience is appreciated while we read through them all to find their wonderful new homes.
Currently in care in The Basin, Victoria
Medical notes
Oscar has only recently been vaccinated. He will require a booster which will be given at our cost if he is taken to one of our partner vets which we will discuss with adopter at the time of application.
He is not ready to head to his new home until 8/12.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
