Hello, my name is Rani. I am a sweet natured kelpie x girl around 6 - 7 months old. I am fawn and tan in colouring. My coat is very short and low maintenance. I’ve been told I am very pretty, I’m smart, I’m cute and apparently I’m the best behaved dog my foster family has ever had. I really strive to be a good girl.
If you were to call me, I would come straight away as my recall is excellent. Everyday I grow a little bit in confidence and I really like to learn new things. I have just started to get used to being on a lead, which is fun as I know that means I am going somewhere. I travel well in the car, even on long distances and I am super quiet too, even when I am left alone. I know how to share with another dog as I have lived with other dogs in the past. I sleep very quietly both inside and out and even put myself to bed each night without being asked. I like to meet people and I know how to be gentle and kind to everyone.
Although I am a kelpie x, I am smaller in size than many of my breed, although I may grow just a little bit more. Ideally my new people would understand that my origins are from working dogs and I would love to be part of a family that is active and has fun, whatever combination of people in that family is fine by me. I also would love you to teach me how to play games.
If you would love to be on the receiving end of the most gentle, soft kelpie kisses, please put in an application to meet me soon.
Love Rani xx

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
