About Lilly
Being so petite and polite you would think that Lilly would be living the good life by now, hanging out with her best pals in her new forever home. Sadly, this quiet girl just hasn't found her ideal human yet.
New environments and unfamiliar people can be overwhelming for even the boldest of felines, so it is no surprise that the gentle Lilly's of the world find adjusting to new spaces and faces a bit stressful. Hiding in a quiet dark place, vocalising, and not eating, are all normal responses you might see in your cat as they enter their new home and begin learning about their new lifestyle. You can help your new family member feel most at ease by ensuring they have somewhere safe to hide and easy access to all of their important resources. Keeping a bed, litter tray, food and water bowls in one room to begin with can help to reduce your cat's interactions with scary stimuli as they go about their daily routine of eating and resting. Offering some quiet company and a few tasty treats can also help you bond with a frightened feline, as you too become a point of safety in an unfamiliar environment.
If you are looking for an affectionate and affable feline to join your quiet home, and you can devote time to helping a sweet lady like Lilly settle into her new digs, we would love for you to meet her. We have no doubt that her captivating eyes and charming character will win your heart!
