About Kojo (CaV18-262)
Hi there! I'm Kojo and I'm the sweetest little girl you can imagine. I was born on the streets of Northam, which isn't the easiest life. My mum and I were being fed and looked after by a lovely old man, but then he had to move out of his house into a nursing home so we were left behind. His daughter made sure to trap us, so we weren't left to fend for ourselves.
I was very scared and shy when I first came into foster care! It was all pretty over-whelming since I had never even been inside a house before!
But I've had help and support from some amazing foster carers and I've come a LONG way! My foster carers wrote this about me:
Kojo has really come along in leaps and bounds. She is an adorable, active cat with a high curiosity level. She loves to play though she is somewhat shy. She will choose someone in the home and open up to them. She isn’t the cuddliest kitty cat but boy is she fun to watch play. She is also playful with other cats but is not into dogs; she hasn’t shown any behaviours that would prevent her living with a dog other than hissing but you would need to take it slowly and let her come around in her own time. Whilst being a lovely little girl, Kojo is not suited to small children. She loves to talk to everyone in the home and watch everything that goes on and although she is still learning about life with humans, she is a quick learner and very observant.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
