About Ziggy
My name is Ziggy, I am 18 months old and my foster family think I am the sweetest girl. Ziggy is deaf however, it doesn’t seem to affect her happy staffy personality.
Unfortunately, Ziggy has been let down in the past and because of this she does get anxious when you leave the house however, she does settle. She is improving a great deal in foster care but will need a home that understands there will be an initial adjustment period for her until she learns you are not going to leave her.
Ziggy is very eager to please and follows you around looking to you for direction. She walks well on the lead after some initial minor pulling. She is food motivated and loves her kong filled with treats.
Ziggy deserves only the best so will need to go to a home that is committed to continuing her socialisation and training. She will also need to be an only dog until she has been socialised more. She is currently fostered with another dog and she is getting a lot better with him but would prefer to be on her own for now. She is also starting to learn some basic sign language.
