About Marsha
Well hello there! I see you're looking at my profile, how exciting! Well I better hop to it and introduce myself. My name is Marsha. I was found all hot and bothered in the Pilbara sun when a lovely lady rescued me! She is taking very good care of me whilst I wait for a family to adopt me. After being lost outside, I was afraid of going out for quite a while. But I LOVE going outside now. It's my dream to live with a family who has other small animals like guinea pigs & such as I really love company. Have you seen the amazing illustration my carer made of me dreaming?
I'm all soft, fluffy and super sweet, with glorious colouring - dark grey fur with black points, and cream fur on my paw pads. My feet are enormous. It's like I'm wearing Ugg boots!!
There are lots of things for me to do inside. I have a cat tunnel I love to run through. Some mornings I'm quite mischievous and jump on the furniture but most of the time I like to wander around your feet and get a cuddle or pat. However I'm afraid of heights so please don't pick me up too high. I'm pretty easy going and get along with everyone, even my little foster rat siblings.
My favourite foods are spinach, kale and baby carrots with the leafy tops - delicious! I also enjoy compacted bunny treats, bananas and leafy vegetables. As for house-keeping, you'll be impressed with how clean I am. Of course I'm house-trained and I don't like a dirty litter box so I politely request you clean my litter tray every 2-3 days please. Otherwise I won't want to use it, it might make my paws dirty!
A LITTLE EXTRA ABOUT BUNNY CARE
Want to know how to keep a bunny happy? Rabbits need a calm, stress free environment, so we suit adult owners or gentle children. I would like to spend most of my time with my Loved Ones. We don't cope well with heat, so please put the air conditioner on for me when it's hot. A healthy rabbit diet includes good quality hay, vegetables, leafy greens, fruit, seeds, roots and herbs. I would be so excited if you build playground tunnels for me - with different levels to jump on, hide away and to dig in and especially if you change it around from time to time. Sticks and bark are great to chew on. It will be important for me to have at least four hours a day to roam freely around the house.
I CAN FLY!
A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for animals who are located remotely if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth for around $50 airfare.
