About Honey ~ Wolfhound x (on trial 9-12-2018))
Meet Honey girl, a sassy 6 month old Wolfhound X. This gorgeous lady with the striking good looks is very friendly and loves people. Saved from death row at the pound she is loving the home life, learning new things and running amuck with her foster brother Murphey (also available for adoption).
Honey loves attention and is happy to be wherever you are. She is a growing pup and loves her food and treats. She loves to play fetch and loves her walks but also enjoys curling up at your feet while you watch tv.
She is perfect travelling in the car and is settled even on long trips. She has been very well socialised and is very happy to be around other friendly dogs. She loves people, but like all puppies can get a little over excited and is learning not to jump up.
Honey is new to the beach scene and isn’t sure of those scary waves but is happy to play in the calmer water.
Honey has learnt so much in the time since she was rescued from the pound. She has learnt the ‘sit’ and ‘wait’ commands, she is toilet trained and comes to her name when called. Although walking on the lead is still quite new to her, she is a fast learner and with a little more training she will have the whole “heal” thing down pat.
She sleeps inside of a night on her bed and sleeps through the night.
Honey would love a family to call her own, but would be more suited to a family that is home more often than not or already has a dog to keep her company.
To apply to meet Honey please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If you have any questions about her you can contact her foster carer by sending an email to Tennille_doherty@hotmail.com
As Honey is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's older.
Honey’s adoption fee is $450 and covers her desexing, vaccinations, treatment for fleas and worms, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
