About George
CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN MELBOURNE
Georgie boy is an almost 2 year old American Bulldog X (with Shar Pei we think) who loves kisses, cuddles and walks. George would be happy with the company of another dog in his new home - preferably an older/calm female dog medium/large in size, or spoiled as the only pet.
George has been taught to sit and wait for his dinner, and to be told he can start eating, and he will also sit and wait at the road. George is trying very hard to make the right choices, but he does get excited to meet new (and familiar) people and can jump up. Something for his new owner to continue working on.
George is crate trained and this is the best place for him to sleep at night so he can't get up to mischief and he is quite happy snoring away in his crate all night long too.
George is a still a puppy in the sense that when out on walks or in the yard he will pick up sticks and stones on walks (and sometimes eat them). George has an amazing ability to use 'easy' door handles and let himself in and out of rooms. And George will pinch food off your plate or bench if you're not watching 😂
George is an active boy who will need walking at least once a day. Falling into a regular routine will help him settle into his forever home more easily. With George being a busy boy and still very much learning, he would benefit from some one on one training with his new owners.
GEORGE is currently fostered in Melbourne and we would prefer foster/adoption applicants be within a couple of hours drive of there. If you like would like to adopt George please submit an application https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
