About Stephen
Stephen is as goofy as they come, his ears don't make sense and don't stand up straight. His back end wags so hard that his tail hits him back in the face and his body is still so lanky that his feet can't catch up when he wants to run. So he's an adorable unco-ordinated lanky handsome beast.
But he is hilarious to be around, super social with all dogs he has met so far and he has even made some best friends whilst in foster care.
He is still learning the ins and outs of manners within a home, but has adapted well to crate training and sleeping a full night, and is showing to work hard when it comes to learning his basic obedience, leash skills and recall; all things his new family will need to work on also as he adjusts to a new home.
Stephen loves to play, so a home with another playful and friendly dog who can guide him in what to do around the home is best suited. He doesn't show to have a dominant streak in him so he would suit any style of dog, although being quite lanky and clumsy a small frail dog would not be best suited as he may accidentally hurt them.
He hasn't met any kids since being in foster care but being so friendly we would say he could adjust to a home with dog savvy kids. He must be allowed inside at night to be close and comfortable with his new family and he will need fencing 6ft or over for safety and security. But we may accept rural fencing for the right application.
Stephen is located in the Lower Hunter Valley and his adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
