About Suzie
Sweet little Suzie!
This young lady is very shy but incredibly sweet. The perfect home for beautiful Suzie will be a quiet and relaxed environment where she can take her time to fit in and realise she is safe in her wonderful new home.
This gorgeous girl is looking for her special family who understand she will need some time to settle in. Suzie recently came to us with her siblings. They have been living with a large number of dogs in the past and have found the move very unsettling. Time and patience will be important for this lovely girl to allow her the time she needs to feel safe, secure and at home with her new family.
Considering these pups have had very little socialisation in the past, they will be best suited to homes where they will be offered regular walks and outings without being pushed or placed in overwhelming situations. They will most likely always have a nervous side but once they have gained the trust of their new people, we believe their confidence will begin to develop quickly.
In addition to the above, considering these pups are easily startled, Suzie and her siblings will only be suited to homes with no young children.
The best outcome for Suzie will be to find a home where she will have a confident, desexed MALE doggy pal of similar age, size and breed to offer her companionship and guidance. She loves the company of other dogs and will not cope well being on her own. She will need a friend to lean on while she is adjusting to her new lifestyle. ***Homes without another dog will not be considered***
Suzie is currently enjoying life as a mainly indoor dog. She is doing well with her toilet training but still needs the occasional reminder. Safety and security of sleeping indoors will be important for Suzie to feel like she belongs in her new home.
Suzie takes some time before she will approach new people. She will happily give your hand lots of nervous licks but accepting pats does take a bit of time. Once you have her trust, she will slowly begin to approach and she has recently become more comfortable with pats and chin scratches. Now that she is feeling more relaxed with her foster carer, she is also happy to stick around for a nice massage. It has taken some time but Suzie's adoring personality is beginning to shine through.
We do expect to receive a lot of enquiries for Suzie and her siblings so please be patient while we read through them all. Each enquiry will receive a reply. Only enquiries meeting Suzies important needs will be considered.
Suzie and her siblings will be looking for separate new homes. They will not be rehomed together.
Currently in care in Ferntree Gully, Victoria
Medical notes

All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
