About Sasha (on adoption trial)
Introducing Sascha, a sweet natured, energetic Pomeranian x girl. Sasha is cat friendly, not small farm animal friendly though, so cats rule, but chickens etc just don’t make the cut in being part of Sascha’s world. Overwise, Sascha just wants to be everyone’s friend, she would be best suited to a home with another dog as she just loves to play and play and play. Sascha is loyal and attaches herself to her family, just wanting to hang out quietly while they do whatever they are doing. She isn’t worried about the size of other doggie sisters and brothers, just that they are ready for a game of wrestling, chases or playing with a toy. Sasha will chase a ball but gets distracted sometimes when bringing it back to you. She is toilet trained, so no unexpected accidents inside. Sascha sleeps inside in her own bed, currently has free access to inside and outside, although doesn’t worry when she is asked to stay outside for a day with her doggie friends while her foster family is out for the day.
Sacha is a breeze to bath and loves having her coat brushed, she is a climber so needs good fencing, at least 5ft. But she only climbs to get to her current family or visit the cats, not to escape. She is submissive, not a fighter. Loves having her belly rubbed, but not a lap girl. She doesn’t bark a lot, mainly only when she gets excited because her chosen playmate won’t play with her and she want to encourage them. She hasn’t been around children, however, I feel she would be ok. As she doesn’t jump up and is only about 15 kgs so heavy enough to knock small children over. She likes to walk behind her people with her nose in the back of your knees, just so she knows where you are. She doesn’t dig, has chewed a pair of thongs up, however, once given a real toy and shown where the toy box is, she stopped.
