About Peaches
Hi everyone! Peaches here, and I’m as sweet in nature as I am by name. I’m a young British girl who came from a family who loved and cared for me, but unfortunately their circumstances changed and they couldn’t keep me. The team at MBRC took one look at me and couldn’t resist my beautiful brown eyes and charming smile, and agreed to help find me a new home.
I’m being fostered by a family with heaps of bulldogs, and they’ve taught me a lot about fitting into a pack. I’m quite high energy for a bulldog I’m told, but I’m learning there’s a time to be calm, as well as plenty of time to play. I love playing tug-of-war with my foster-siblings, but I’m also content gnawing on a toy by myself. I’m getting much better at social cues and being around other dogs, my foster parents say I’m doing really well with my socialisation. My toilet training is going well too, I almost always make it outside and I’ve got heaps better at letting my humans know when I need to go. I’m pretty easy going as far as bulldog health and maintenance goes. My locks are very sleek and smooth, and my foster mum loves patting me because she says I’m sooooo soft. My wrinkles need a wipe out occasionally and I like being in the aircon on a warm day, but other than that I’m easy-peasy! I just love meal times, and will sit while you put the bowl down for me. I’m a bit of a guts, so I get fed away from my foster-siblings to give them a chance to finish their dinner before I do. You won’t have to worry about leftovers with me around, but it’s best to make sure I can’t get my paws on anything I’m not supposed to (my foster mum learned this when she left her breakfast somewhere I just managed to reach…).
I’m good with other dogs, but I’d do best in a home without cats. I don’t mean to be naughty, but I can’t seem to help chasing them. I’m just not a cat-loving kind of dog. I can get a little rambunctious sometimes, I’m only a kid myself after all, but I’ve been pretty good with the small children I’ve met so far. A home with kids old enough to help me with my learning would be great. If I wouldn’t have fur-siblings to keep me company, someone home more often than not would make me happiest. I’m affectionate, loving and full of personality - a typical stubborn bulldog with a heart of gold! If you’re willing to invest some time in me and keep up with my training, I’ll be your best friend for ever and ever.
