About Athena
***INDOOR ONLY KITTY***
Athena was born approx 17.09.15. She has had a rough trot in her 3 years, having raised at least 2 litters in the streets. Her first litter (with only one survivor), Athena was strong enough to drag the hefty kitten up over a concrete ledge to safety in the heavy wet. A few months later she re-appeared with 2 new kittens in toe. She was a lot weaker with two kittens and subsequently easier to catch. Athena settled into home life with no trouble; she knew exactly what a litter box was for, exactly where the food was kept and exactly what beds are for. This brave little girl has done a great job of raising her kits but she really wants a nice quiet life. Athena likes to be the dominate personality in the house and will fight for that position with other cats, but she loves pats and actively seeks you out for attention. Athena isn’t an overly active girl, happily playing with her toys for a few minutes at a time and she much prefers a comfortable place to perch and preen. Athena would fit right in somewhere she can be the lady of the manor. Unfortunately she doesn't like young children. She will hide when they scream but, she’s very tolerant in all other areas (storms, fireworks etc). All her vet work has been done and includes desexing, microchip, vaccination, flea and worm treatment and she has tested negative to FIV. She is In foster care in Atherton.
