About

Lincoln came into BFF care from a far north pound, after he was surrendered from a hoarding situation with multiple other cats. Sadly he wasn’t in the best condition, but after several months of care, vet treatment, love and lots of yummy food, he is now doing beautifully and is ready to find his forever family.

Lincoln is quite a timid little boy, and on initial introduction to new people he will run and hide, and watch you from a distance. After a little bit of time, curiosity (and food) gets the better of him and he will wander over to suss you out. Once he knows you just want to give him love, he will smooch against you. He is not a fan of being picked up and freaks out when you try, but I believe in the right home with time, he will learn that he’s safe and it’s OK.

Fast movement and loud noises frighten Lincoln, therefore he needs to be in a home that is quiet, and with no small children. He loves the company of other cats, and gains confidence from having another cat as a friend and his forever home would need to have another feline to keep him company.

Lincoln is going to be an amazing companion, he just needs to find the right human that will be happy to go slow with him and earn his trust.
