About Maxx
Hi, My name is Maxx and my foster mum says I am the most beautiful gentle natured puppy she has ever seen.
I'm a bit timid at first and while i will aim to do everything to please you straight away there maybe a time or two i don't - please don't give up on me - just show me what to do and i promise i will do my best!
I sure do love to cuddle with humans and if you have a fur sibling for me to play with that would be great! My mum says i can sometimes play hard but nothing aggressive - just a boy being a boy.
I have been used to all sizes of dogs come and go at my foster home (no one has yet fallen in love with me) but i love to play with dogs of all sizes
I know all my food manners but would prefer not sharing a dog bowl with another sibling just cause they tend to try and eat all my dinner
I am good on a halti and know my sit and stop commands
My ideal home will be with an active family/people where I can be with doing things - even just mowing - i'll help! Max has had limited experience with cats
I can’t wait to find a special home to lay my paws.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
