About Gage
Looking for an easy going, good looking boy? Meet Gage!
Gage is a lovely dog that's a good all rounder. A super happy boy that's friendly with everyone, he's happy to chill out in the yard, even when no-one is home or can easily hang around with other dogs. He's previously lived on acreage with multiple other dogs, livestock, chooks and kids, so would likely fit into most environments.
Very relaxed, Gage is just happy to snooze in the sun, have cuddles and tummy rubs from his family, do whatever you're doing and join in anything that's going on....or nothing at all. Nothing much fazes this boy, I guess that's the relaxed rural lifestyle coming out!
Good with other dogs, Gage enjoys a good game of rumbles and chasies. He's not much into toys though and much prefers one on one play time, be it with another dog or his family.
Coming from a rural lifestyle, Gage is still learning new things, like walking on a lead, which does need further work. He can sit and stay for short periods. He doesn't bark or jump up and is easy going around kids.
He's not a fan of confined spaces, so isn't looking for apartment living and is best suited to a yard with room to move. He'll need a good daily walk and play time with other dogs. He can be homed with another easy going, friendly dog or on his own, he's ok either way, provided he gets human interaction.
His new family will need to be committed to further his training as he does still need a bit of work, but he's so easy in every other aspect. He should be an integral part of the family and would love a home where he gets to go out on adventures with his humans. Because he's so relaxed, he'd be an ideal dog to take just about anywhere.
If you're looking for a new best mate and think you can give Gage loads of love, please complete the adoption enquiry form via our Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
