Sputnik

Sputnik is a gorgeous young man with the cutest freckles and softest fur.

This incredibly sweet boy loves other dogs and enjoys a good game of chasies, rumbles or tuggy. He's happy to interact with all shapes and sizes and is respectful of older dogs that don't want a puppy jumping on them.

He's also a chilled out dude and will happily snooze the day away if nothing much is happening. Good is the house, Sputnik is house trained, sleeps really well through the night, is happy to chill in a crate and can be left alone, with other dogs, for periods throughout the day. He also loves playing with toys, especially those that squeak, and is happy to amuse himself for hours with them.

Sputnik is very well mannered around food, takes treats gently, knows he needs to sit for his dinner or treats and doesn't inhale his food. He is happy to eat around other dogs and has absolutely no food guarding whatsoever.

A bit shy of strangers, especially men, although he's come such a long way whilst in care, this boy will need a home with another playful, slightly older, friendly dog that he can learn more confidence with and who will show him that the big world is full of fun and adventure and nothing too scary.

This boy is quite a smoocher and loves cuddles and kisses with his family. He bonds very well with people and enjoys the company. He will follow you around like a little shadow and check in with you. If allowed, he also enjoys a cuddle in bed!!

He is best suited to being an inside / outside dog and will spend most of his time on a mat or lounge in the house and needs to be allowed to sleep inside too. He won't do well being left outside if his family is inside.

Sputniks new family must be committed to his ongoing health and happiness, some extra training, daily exercise and socialisation to ensure he grows into the most awesome dog. He will need another dog at home, that is a must have and his family should be home more often than not.
