Hi there, the name is Mako! I found myself here with the kind folks at the RSPCA after my previous owners circumstances changed. As much as I have enjoyed all the TLC I have received here, what I am really after is loving family and place to call my own! Think you can help me? I am a sweet guy with a lot of love to give but I can be a bit of a stress head and highly strung so I am going to need a dedicated family who can provide a calm and consistent home with structure and routine. It will be important for my new owners to take things nice and slowly, I am going to need time to settle in and to not be rushed into any new situations or to busy areas until I feel comfortable and have bonded with my new family. I am a working breed with lots of energy so I am not going to be a boy that you can just leave outside, no sir! I want to be included in the family and will benefit from lots of mental enrichment and positive training. I feel I would cope best with owners who work from home or part time as I am happiest when I am around my loved ones. I could potentially live with older/mature children pending a meet and at this time would be best suited as the only dog of the family. I'm really not a fan of other dogs, I just prefer to be around people so I won't like going to busy dog places like parks or beaches. I just know that with the right family who can provide gentle guidance, positive leadership and training that I am going to be your best mate for life in no time!
