About Paddy
Name: Paddy
Breed: Wolfhound X Bull Arab
Age: 14 months
Sex: Male
Dog Friendly: Yes
Child Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Toilet Trained: Yes
Location: Upper Caboolture, QLD
My name is Paddy, I'm about a year old and I am a big loveable goof. I haven't quite figured out that I'm a big dog, as I love to sit on your knee. I am great with kids, even with my big size.
I don't bark or chase cats and I have previously lived with them.
I especially like to learn with treats. I am toilet trained and can sit and stay. I am still working on shake, drop and walking calmly on a lead.
But most of all I would love a furry friend to play with when my human isn't with me. I am currently staying with a male cattle dog the same age as me and we love to play chasey and tug of war and two older Kelpies. I'm not a fan of small dogs though so any dogs will need to be medium/large.
Medical notes
Paddy has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccination
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
~ Heartworm Tested & Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
