Hi humans, my name is Darla and if anyone deserves a second chance at love, it's me.

I came into care after I was scheduled to be put to sleep at a regional pound. BVAR rushed to save me to bring me into care, as it wasn't just my life on the line - I was pregnant.

Unfortunately, the flight, new environment, and how sick I was all got too much for me and I lost each of my kittens. It was absolutely heartbreaking, and it has taken me a while to recover - but I am now ready for a home to call my own.

I am a very sweet and gentle girl. I like to do my own thing, but I also love to cuddle up to my favourite humans. I don't have a problem with the other cats I live with, but I am shy and much prefer to have you all to myself. I am clean and always use my kitty litter.

My favourite thing to do is to get right under the doona and snuggle right even - even if its warm out, it makes me feel safe and happy. When I get you to myself, I will show you just how much I care, by purring, sitting by you, and even holding your hand with my paw.

I am vaccinated, microchipped, up to date with parasite control and desex. Now I just need to find someone to love me.
