I am such a handsome, quiet and friendly 3 year old Border Collie. So quiet, that you will forget I am even there. I have a medium haired coat which is so easy to maintain. I love older children and other dogs and am super submissive. I spend most of my life belly up waiting for tummy rubs. My favourite things in life are food, my fur mates, and more food. I am still getting used to suburban life, so loud noises and new things scare me sometimes but I am getting used to everything now.
Being a border collie I am incredibly smart, but I am in retirement from farm life, so I do not need a tonne of exercise; just a walk every day is nice. I also love to lie on your feet and just be with you and your fur friends. I would definitely prefer to have a furry friend to play with and show me the ropes. I don’t like to be left alone. My current border collie foster brother doesn’t mind me being his shadow, even though he is younger than me and quite silly.
I am growing happier and more confident every day and my foster mum keeps telling me to play with the new toys she buys me. I have finally worked out what they are for! I am getting better on the lead, but I need some more practice and lots of patience. I am looking for a loving home where I can be part of a family, however big or small that is, as long as it is not too loud for me.
I’m in Brisbane and ready to find my new life, so if you think I could be your new friend please fill out an application as I would love to meet you soon. Love Boy x

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
