About Rocky
Our Rocky is no Sylvester Stallone but this young Shepherd is a playful and social dog currently in care in Windsor and sharing his foster home with both male and female dogs and he is good with both.
Rocky is a good natured stock coated German Shepherd who came into care from a Sydney Animal Shelter when his former owned failed to claim him.
Still learning to walk on a lead, Rocky knows the basic commands and is voice responsive. Rocky would love a home of his own where his loving nature can be appreciated by a family or couple.
Rocky is completely house trained and would be an ideal companion dog for another dog of similar size. Rocky is not suited to a home with pocket pets or cats. As he is still a playful young dog we recommend he go to a home with children over five years of age.

Medical notes
Rocky is desexed, vaccinated and on heart worm protection. He has been wormed, flea treated and he is on tick protection.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
